Simple and sweet, had a good bit of fun with it. Final score was 814

Only slight gripe is that depending on which enemy spawns first changes the game from a dodge em up to just sitting and waiting. Only enemy that forces you to actively move at all times is the cat, so if they don't spawn for awhile it's super easy to rack up points

Still a neat game tho! Would've been cool for some of the enemies to be less "support attackers" and more active, but still had fun either way

Void-Procurist responds:

That's entirely reasonable. I designed the 5 in such a way where they wouldn't lean *too* hard into being outright aggressive, as to encourage the pick-up and put-down playstyle. At the same time though, I have seen it lean too hard in the other direction of just waiting for something to be a threat.

I do want to maybe revisit this perhaps at some point, and I learned a lot from making it, so I'll definitely keep this in mind if that ever comes to pass. Thank you for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed!

Most fun I've had with a Newgrounds game in awhile, not saying games on here stink but I've been loving this one a lot lol. Has a really cool game loop for a game jam entry, slowly goes from being a warioware type thing to more of a money manager once you get some frogs.

Only real complaint is that the baby minigame can be really jank sometimes. I'll press on the sucker 3 times and nothing happens and then I miss click and then it decides to count my click. Also in the corgi minigame sometimes the collision messes up where one gets stuck in between the truck and you can get him until you get the ones around them, doesn't have extremely often though.

Oh also there's a glitch where if you close a tab once you finish it then the slot doesn't get filled by a new task, which kinda stinks because that could be a quicker way to do the cock fighting and stealing candy one because they have longer endings. Doesn't devalue the game at all, just thought I'd mention.

Very solid jam entry, has a lot of polish and fun extras you guys were able to game in a week. Great work!

crow-seeds responds:

Pushed an update that should fix the glitch with the baby/cockfight minigames! Closing it after you beat it should give you the rewards immediately and remove the minigame from the queue. Glad you enjoyed the game!

I play this game everyday the second I wake up

Too much Tabbith hurts the soul

Super fun game with a neat gimmick! Don't know if the games bugged or I'm just dumb, but I can't get past the locked door at the start of the train level? Once I shoot the 4 targets in a row they just become un shot again and nothing happens.

Guy-Unger responds:

fixed! thanks :)

Pretty good, like the weird movement system. Think clicking the middle of the barrel should really let it spin around, because I didn't realize that was even a mechanic until I tried clicking the sides

RaspberryJamGames responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I've updated the demo to address your criticism.
There is now a button prompt explaining item selection, and you can click the middle of the cylinder to select an item.
Hope you enjoy!

Pretty cool but all the tension goes away once you realize that there's no way to lose and the top half of the fear meter is useless because there's no real difference from being at half way fear and max fear. The story it's telling between rounds was good but again, just feels in vain because there's no real danger. It's great don't get me wrong and I understand all the choices made but idk, wish it had the extra oomph

Chris responds:

It might not necessarily be my next project but I’m intending to expand on the game with a sequel. There’ll definitely be fail states in the next one, as well as longer length and a few new gameplay mechanics that I’ve been thinking about. I just need to think about it a bit more before I start because I don’t want to over complicate the gameplay too much. I’ve got more time to spend on it this time around so that’ll hopefully result in an even better game.

Good bit of fun, probably one of my favorite interpretations of the theme, and the remix levels were a lot more unique then I expected. Only thing that would've been nice is if it was a little more clear if you are in hitting distance from a ball, made levels like number 5 a lot harder because I was slightly missing all my shots. Still a great little game

WeenterMakesGames responds:

That's actually great feedback! Thanks for playing!

Love the art and the goofy sounds, if you plan on expanding the game I'd recommend adding little death animations because the game just saying "you lose" while the guy is just standing there is a little anticlimactic

gatorSoup responds:

Glad you liked the art and sounds. Thank you for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated. Yes I am working on expanding the game, this version was made for a jam, and I didn't have time for death animations but it is high on list for the expansion for the next version.

Game has a lot of personality but I feel like you should had just made a golfing game. Had some fun with that level but the rest was really meh

TristoneThePerson responds:

i was thinking of making it golf only but i didnt make sense since bats an stuff
